Shuttle Schedule
The schedule for shuttle service between hotels and the African Union Conference Center and between hotels and badge pick-up and on-site registration at the Ghion Hotel has been posted (click here). This schedule will also be available at your hotel. Shuttle service to the Ghion Hotel begins Sunday November 10 at 9:00 am.
Badge pick-up is located at Ghion Hotel:
Location: Behind the National Palace across from Meskel Square

Badge pick-up hours:
November 10 – 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
November 11 - 8:00 am to 9:00 pm
November 12 - 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
November 13 - 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
November 14 - 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Local participants may pick up their badges starting on November 9 between 9am to 8pm.
We encourage all participants to plan sufficient time to pick up their badge. You cannot access the African Union Conference Center without a badge.
Badging Requirements:
- To ensure your badge is printed without delay, enter all information into your online registration profile by November 1. You must provide your passport number and country of issue. Ethiopians may alternatively enter their National ID number. Click here to update your information.
- Bring your passport and proof of payment with you to pick up your badge. Ethiopians may bring their National ID in lieu of a passport. Proofs of payment include the payment confirmation email, proof of international bank transfer, or deposit slip from payments made in Ethiopia.
- You must pick up your own badge. Per Ethiopian National Security picture badges are required. Your photo will be taken when you come to pick up your badge.
- Conference issued badges are required to enter the African Union Conference Center.
Shuttle Service to the Ghion Hotel
Shuttle service will be provided from various hotels to the Ghion Hotel. Please note the name of your hotel in the registration system (Click here to update your information). Shuttle service to the Ghion will begin on November 10 at 9:00am. A detailed shuttle schedule will available at each hotel and on the conference website shortly. Participants can also use taxi cabs at their own expense.
